To apply for each of our apprenticeship schemes follow these simple steps:-
Have a look at our current vacancies and identify the apprenticeship that’s right for you. Remember the exact title of the apprenticeship you are interested in – you could write it down.
Read our FAQ – there may be something here that you hadn’t thought about.
Go to ' Apply Now' which will take you into our online recruitment site in a new window.
Find the apprenticeship you are interested in by using the exact title you wrote down.
Complete and submit your online application form. Leave yourself plenty of time so you can complete it with care and attention.
When asked to do so, complete online aptitude tests.
If you are successful you will be asked to attend an interview or an assessment centre. You will be sent more information about that nearer the time.
If you are not successful you will receive an email notification.
Yes, you can apply for one Advanced Apprenticeship and one Higher or Degree Apprenticeship application in each recruitment cycle.
*Please give examples of where you have had to share information with others eg. presentations, using IT, completing written reports, group discussions, debates in order to achieve a goal.
*Please use this section for any additional information you feel relevant, including reasons for your career choice and how your skills / abilities make you suitable for this.
*Please tell us about your main interests, hobbies and any positions of responsibility or awards (excluding academic) which you feel may be beneficial to your application.
*Please give an example of something you have done where you had to be creative in order to solve a problem, or challenge. Examples can be from school, college, work and hobbies etc.
*Please give an example of when you have been set or set yourself a challenging task. Describe what it was and what personal characteristics you had to demonstrate to achieve the task, including obstacles you had to overcome.
*Please give an example of an occasion where you supported, co-operated and worked with others to achieve a common goal. Describe your role in the team and how you contributed to the teams success.
*Can you give me an example of a time when you did the right thing, when there was an easier option?
*Example question on application process - how would you advertise on a stall with no electric?
*Please describe a time you were asked to perform skills or meet requirements that were outside of your comfort zone. Describe the situation, the steps you took, and the outcome.

1 November : You can apply for an Apprenticeship
28 February : We stop taking Apprenticeship applications
March : We review applications and shortlist, inviting successful candidates to complete online testing. You have seven days from receiving the tests to complete them. Candidates successful at the testing stage are invited to interviews.
April : Interviews take place.
May : Notification of conditional offers given.
August : Notification of firm offers given.
August to September : Start your Apprenticeship, depending on the role and business area you are recruited into
