Year 7 Transition Residential Trip

Early in Year 7, students can take part in a 24‑hour outdoor residential at the Cuffley Active Learning Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to spend time in the woods, take part in a wide range of activities, enjoy a campfire, and bond as a year group. 

The trip provides a memorable start to their journey at LAB, helping them to build friendships and develop confidence in a new environment.

“This trip included many activities like: Shelter building, Camouflage and concealment and of course making s’mores on a campfire. I really enjoyed this trip and if you get to come I’m sure you will feel the same.”

“What I loved most was how the camp helped us to make friends. Our colleges were mixed so we could get to know each other better, and it meant that when we came back to school we already felt like a strong community.”
