CONSULTATIVE MEETING WITH THE STAKEHOLDERS

On April 1, 2022, the BISU Extension Core Group returned to Totolan Elementary School to address the needs of teachers and students affected by the pandemic. During the meeting, Dr. Alith Billion, principal of Totolan Elementary School, thanked the BISU MC Extension team for visiting the school.

Dr. Alith Billion is still unsure about the limited face-to-face classes, so she focuses on the school's current needs, which are: 1) a mental health seminar for teachers; 2) continuing the Badjao Learners tutorial upon approval of limited face-to-face classes; and 3) expanding teachers' food processing and dressmaking training. Out-of-school youth and their parents will be included in the training once additional restrictions are lifted.

Dr. Agustina Doloritos, a member of the TES faculty, expressed a desire to learn video editing. She explained that it is essential for their video lesson.

Dr. Evangelista went over the MOA to see if this activity is feasible.

The BISU-MC Extension Core Group was interviewed at the Landmark Radio Station to spread information about the IP Badjao Literacy, Numeracy, and Livelihood Extension Program. During the interview, the status and impact of the extension program were discussed.
