PERFORMANCE ATTIRE

The following describe the performance attire for the various instrumental groups at Legacy High School. Please make sure that your child owns the appropriate items on this list.

Freshmen Band and Prep Band

Concert attire for this ensemble is provided by the student and must be ALL BLACK. All students will purchase and wear a Legacy Music Department polo shirt. In addition to the polo each student must wear the following:

Black Dress Pants (NO JEANS)

Black, Calf Length, Dress Socks

Black Closed-toe Dress Shoes

     (NO FLIP FLOPS, SANDALS, OR SNEAKERS)

Additionally: Black jeans, sweat pants, yoga pants, athletic pants, and sneakers of any sort are unacceptable for concert attire.

Concert Band and Wind Ensemble

Concert attire for this ensemble is formal. Each student must wear the following items:

Women:

Black formal dress (Provided)

Black Nylons (no visible bare legs)

Black Closed-toe Dress Shoes

     (NO FLIP FLOPS)

Men:

Black Tuxedo Jacket (Provided)

Black Dress Pants (Provided)

Tuxedo Shirt (purchased)

Black, Calf Length, Dress Socks

Black Dress Shoes

   (NO TENNIS SHOES)

Saber Band

Attire for all Saber Band performances is the Saber Band T-shirt. If the weather is cool, then layers may be worn, but the Saber Band T-shirt is always on top.

Marching Sabers

· Legacy Marching Uniform

· Shorts and Moisture Wicking T-shirt (for under the uniform)

· Black Dress Socks

· Black Marching Shoes
