Brief:

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are very important and we all have a responsibility to make the world a better place. A Very important issue is ‘life below water.’ Some of the issues affecting our oceans include over-fishing and plastic pollution.

Did you know? Over 3 billion people depend on the oceans for their livelihood.

Task:

Your task is to create a game which will educate students aged 8-10 about why this is such an important issue and to help inform them of things they can be doing to minimise the impact we have on the world’s oceans.

How will my game be assessed?

You game will be assessed against the following criteria:


Originality: You should have designed the game without copying ideas from other people. It must be your own work

Creativity: Your game should demonstrate your problem-solving skills combined with a creative solution

Method: Your game should include various programming techniques including loops and conditional statements

Product: Your final product should look professional and include a ‘start screen’ as if it were a game you are launching
