Why should I take the TSI?
The TSI is an assessment taken by students entering colleges or universities in Texas. Scores are used to determine their readiness for college level coursework in English Language Arts (ELAR) and Mathematics. It helps institutions place students in appropriate courses, including developmental education if needed. Essentially, it ensures students are placed in courses that match their skill level, setting them up for success in college.
