Meet Mrs. Gilmore

Welcome to Mrs. Gilmore's Kindergarten/First Grade class at the Academy at Nola Dunn! My name is Lauren Gilmore and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! This is my fourth year here at The Academy and my sixth year teaching. I can say there is NO place like the Academy! I am so excited to start another school year here and get to know and love on my new class!

I am a graduate of Texas Tech University, and I enjoy having a class full of "Lil' Raiders in Training!" In addition to teaching, I have been married to my husband, Ryan, for five years in November and we just had our first child, Emersyn, in April. She is sweet as pie and I can't wait to tell you all about her! We also have two dogs, Bella and Beasley! My hobbies include spending time with my family, shopping, and traveling to new places.

I am looking forward to getting to know your child and having a fabulous year together. I am so excited to see how much they grow through our journey together! I am a firm believer that a positive relationship between the parent and teacher is the key to a child's success. I look forward to working together this year to help your child become successful.
