High School Advising & Planning
It's time to get ready for high school! On this page, we'll help you think through the high school courses you'd like to take, give you information about endorsements, and show you how to complete the required signatures for your four year plan. Be sure to look over the information before our advising night in January. More information will be shared as we get closer.

Here are our resources for helping you complete your four year plan. The best way for students to complete this process is in conversation with a parent/guardian.
Make your plan on the Four Year Plan Guide
Click one of these links to create your copy of the Four Year Plan Guide for your high school:

Draft your four year plan with your parent/guardian. For guidance on how to use the spreadsheet, see the videos to the right.
Once you've completed your spreadsheet, share it with the counseling department at your high school.

In class, you will take what you planned with your family on the Four Year Plan Guide and request the courses in Xello. Your teacher will give you instructions on how to do that.
Students - select an endorsement in Skyward
Log in to Student Access.
Select the Endorsement tab on the left side of the screen.
Select "Declare an Endorsement".
A pop-up window will display where you will select an Endorsement. Students who are undecided should select "Multidisciplinary." Please note: You are NOT required to select an "Option".
Check the "I Agree" button.
Click "Save".
Notify your Parent/Guardian that you have completed Endorsement selection.
Parents - sign off on the endorsement in Skyward
Parent/Guardian will log into Family Access.
Select student who will be entering 9th grade.
Select the Endorsement tab on the left side of the screen.
Select sign next to "Guardian Signature is Required".
Read the information and check the "I Agree" button.
Click "Submit Signature".
Parents - sign the four year plan in Xello
You will receive an email at the email address listed in Skyward stating that your student's four year plan is ready to approve in Xello.
