ASVAB:
A common misconception is that the ASVAB is only for military purposes; however, it is beneficial for all students. The career exploration scores can help determine readiness for further education and training in different career areas. The ASVAB is similar to standardized tests like the SAT, but it measures an individual’s potential rather than accumulated knowledge. High school students in grades 10, 11 and 12 can participate in the ASVAB CEP. Students in 11th grade and beyond receive valid scores for enlistment.
BHS will not be releasing ASVAB scores to the Military. These scores are only released to the student for use in college and career planning.
ASVAB Dates: December 7th and March 8th
