Welcome to 3rd Grade!
We are very excited for this school year and look forward to meeting your child and you. Janet Duxbury and Trude Winters are teaming together this year to teach 3rd grade. Ms. Duxbury will be primarily responsible for teaching ELA and social studies. Ms. Winters will be primarily responsible for teaching math and science. We are incredibly excited about this opportunity to work together with your children.
What Your Child Should Bring to School:
SCHOOL SUPPLIES -- If you are unable to purchase/locate something on the list (gently used items are totally FINE!), please do not worry!
WATER BOTTLE -- Your child may bring a water bottle. Water bottles with straws work best.
AFTER SCHOOL PLAN -- Please make sure your child knows their after school plan. Look for communication from Ordway with specific instructions for arrival and dismissal.
SNACKS -- Students will have time to eat a snack every day during class. Please bring something that students can open by themselves.

*Depending on projects, social studies or science could take all afternoon. Additionally, our ELA curriculum is a knowledge based program that incorporates social studies and science. In other words, your child will be learning about science and social studies throughout the course of the school week.
