WMS SEMINAR
Social and Emotional Growth in Action
Adolescence is a challenging time to navigate. Not only are academic responsibilities increasing, social dynamics become more complicated and there are so many physical and emotional changes to manage.
At Woodward, we support not only students' academic growth but also their social and emotional growth. Through our Seminar program, we provide lessons on a range of social/emotional topics, such as approaching challenges with senses of hope and resilience, understanding the power of words on others, and navigating the digital dilemmas of social media. Seminar is a little like a weekly homeroom where students can have these structured conversations with a consistent teacher and group of peers.
