Students are tasked with performing 3 different types of welds. The first weld attempts are performed with little to no instruction. At most, students were given information to adjust the pressure for the gas correctly for MIG welding. Students will be able to see a difference in their welding skills as they learn through book study, video examples, and hands-on practice. They will also be able to determine which learning method best helps them achieve desired results in this practice. The videos below will show students performing this task with how they think welding is performed. Adjustments will be made in their techniques in the coming weeks as students will begin to receive instructions on welding techniques and will begin to see the results of their learning and practice.
