Students will learn how to identify and properly use collision and refinish tools. Students will use a variety of equipment from basic hand tools, to air/electric tools, and more advanced equipment such as MIG welders, frame machine, and fresh air breathing systems in the spray booth. Students will learn the basic foundations to analyze body damage and frame damage, metal finishing, repair cosmetic damages to sheet metal, prepare surfaces for the refinish process, refinish automobiles and provide clean up/detail work to vehicles.

This program provides the detail-minded student with the technical knowledge, skills, character, and work ethic necessary to begin a rewarding career in this fast-paced, high-tech industry.

The Auto Collision course is a 4 year program. When the student is able to enter program as a freshman, they will have a chance to enter the Practicum class in their senior year. During the Practicum course, students will be able to participate as interns at local body shops such as Luke Fruia, Tipton Ford and Tip-o-Tex Chevrolet.
