The BISCAST IPR Policy

1) translates the Intellectual Property Code in a manner that ensures and maintains the academic freedoms of both faculty and the College; 2) Provides an effective and efficient mechanism that will resolve conflicts between research partners;3) Effectively documents and registers intellectual property rights;4) Defines procedures for technology transfers, assignments, licensing and the like; and5) Clarifies the relationship of these rules to other related College policies such as those governing conflict of interests.
