Surplus property includes tangible assets that belong to the University but are no longer of use to the department in possession. When the decision is made by the department in possession to remove property from use, it is declared University Surplus Property and notification is given to Warehouse Operations of the intent to declare the items as surplus. Surplus Property is then displayed below for departments to request for University use only. All requests require departments to submit a Warehouse Service Request Formstack, selecting the Surplus Property Request option.

To donate items, please ensure your items are safe and in good working order. Once you have identified these items, submit a Warehouse Service Request Formstack, selecting the Surplus Property Request option. If you are unsure if an item is acceptable to donate, please contact warehouse.receiver@biola.edu.

Please note that the Warehouse team is not responsible for the completion of Work Order requests and that it may take up to 5-10 business days for the request to be completed and charges may apply. Click this link to view them.
How to Request Surplus Items
How to Request Surplus Items
Step 1. Open the Warehouse Service Request Formstack and select Surplus Property Request.
Step 2. Input your contact information.
Step 3. Select Requesting Surplus Property.
Step 4. Indicate the number of items you are requesting.
Step 5. Select the Item Category and note the Property ID Number (ex. 1001).
Step 6. Submit details for your Work Order Request to have your items delivered to your department.
Step 7. Submit.
You should receive an email confirmation of the request. If one is not received, please reach out to warehouse.receiver@biola.edu for assistance.
