Integration Bee

The Binghamton Math Club holds an annual integral-based competition known as the Integration Bee. In this competition, competitors participate in two separate series' of rounds:

Round 1 -- The preliminary round is open to everyone and can be taken in person or by email. Competitors are given a list of integrals of varying difficulty (scored accordingly) and are to do as much as they can within an hour time frame. The top four contestants are then invited to the finals.

Round 2 -- In the final rounds, contestants are given a series of 15 integrals to be done one at a time in front of an audience. The first to answer correctly and box-in their answer earns a point for that round. They are allowed a "helper" from the audience who can assist the solver starting from three minutes into the round. If no one solves the integral after 10 minutes, the solution is given, no points are awarded, and we move on to the next round. This round is open to spectators and banter.
