Setting
The Substance Use, Pain, and Health Research Lab (SPHRL) is conveniently located in Clearview Hall; the center of clinical psychology research and treatment at Binghamton University. Clearview Hall is easily accessible to residents of the greater Binghamton Community and offers ample visitor parking in an attached lot.

SPHRL occupies a suite that is fully furnished with state of the art equipment used to conduct novel human experimental pain paradigms, computing and printing, conference room space, workspace for research assistants, and a waiting area for research participants. A graduate student office and Dr. Zale's faculty office are also located on-site.
