The Shen Lab is happy to welcome two summer interns to our lab, Andrianna Poznahovska and Prince Karmacharya. Over the course of the summer they will learn valuable wet lab skills and help our research progress in our different areas of interest. Welcome to Andrianna and Prince!
During this past spring semester, one of our undergraduate students, Ben Reinhard, presented his research from the past year on the association of upregulated fibronectin to VPS34 activation. Congrats Ben!
On March 26th and 27th, two of our technicians and an undergraduate represented the lab at the New York State Thoracic Society's annual conference in Rochester, NY. While there, they got to expand their knowledge on pulmonary diseases and care. Additionally, they presented two posters-- one for our project focused on the role of fibronectin in PAH and the other focused on the role of PPP1CA (protein phosphatase 1 catalytic subunit alpha) in PAH. Congrats to Ben, Tony, and Kaylin!
One of our undergraduate students, Ben Reinhard, presented his research at the Binghamton Biology Research Symposium. His project so far has focused on uncovering the role of fibronectin in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. Congrats Ben!
