The Behavioral Neuroscience (BNS) Program at Binghamton University is known for its collaborative environment. If you are the type of person that thrives in that type of interactive workplace, then BNS at Binghamton is the place for you! Students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience are admitted to the Ph.D. program within the Psychology Department. If interested, send an email to Dr. Savage (lsavage@binghamton.edu) with a summary of your research interests.
Undergraduate Research Assistants:
Every year we have a few slots open up for a few undergraduate students to become research assistants. We are interested in student that have a strong commitment to obtaining advanced degrees in biomedical research, in particular, a Neuroscience-related discipline. Select students perform an Independent Honors project, which commonly take 2-years to complete in our laboratory.
To get started, all you need to do is send an email to Dr. Savage (lsavage@binghamton.edu) that includes:
* An updated resume or curriculum vita.
* A copy of your academic transcripts (unofficial is fine).
* A brief description (1-2 paragraphs) of your short- and long-term research interests and future plans.
