AACES Lab

A place for innovative research, understanding & collaboration

AACES stands for Advancing Autism Research through Collaboration, Education and Support

AACES conducts extensive state of the art research to improve the lives of autistic individuals, their families and professionals. We are committed to collaborating with autistic individuals in the research process to allow for improved validity and relevant research that is impactful and neuro-affirming.

Student Training Opportunities
AACES afford many opportunities for students throughout their undergraduate and graduate training that are unique and contribute to professional, research and clinical training in a number of areas.

Where are we located? AACES is primarily housed within Science IV within the Department of Psychology on Binghamton University's main campus. Dr. Gillis Mattson and Dr. Romanczyk co-direct AACES and all research-related activities at AACES.
