I believe in student safety as the utmost responsibility of every adult in the building. This includes their physical safety and mental health safety to be free from bullying, stereotypes, and other negative interactions with their environment. I believe every student has the right to a quality education and deserves a great teacher. Great teachers should be expected in every classroom and not by chance.

I believe in professional learning opportunities for all teachers in order to build positive, safe learning environments where every teacher has the accessibility to be the best and never stop learning to be better. I believe in shared leadership where not one individual houses all the answers, but several leaders share their knowledge with both novice and veteran teachers alike.
