Bringing Indigenous Culture and Connection into Our Schools

Our Indigenous Education Mentors and Cultural Specialists are dedicated to supporting students right where they are. While Mentors are based at select schools to provide direct guidance, they bring the vibrant traditions of Indigenous heritage to every school in our district through immersive cultural presentations.

From exploring the historic Bison Trunk and mastering Indigenous Sign Language to discovering the Yellowstone County Museum, sharing ancient Star Stories, and experiencing lively Powwow Presentations, we create meaningful opportunities for all students to connect, learn, and grow.
