Looking back, what advice would you give to yourself for High School? Do your own thing and don’t get caught up in the drama!

Who is your idol and why? My parents because they have built my character, loved and supported me, and provided me with so many great opportunities.

What is one piece of advice that you would give to your fellow underclassmen cheerleaders? Have a positive attitude always! It makes difficult situations a lot easier. Have fun with cheer and enjoy spending time with your team mates!

What is something you want to tell your coaches? Coach Tayler, thank you for an awesome senior year and all that you do for us! Coach Piper, thank you for encouraging me to do high school cheer and for all of the foundation skills you taught me!

Final Thoughts: Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my years of cheer. I am going to miss so many of you (my stunt group especially).

Name: Taylor Harper

Years on Squad: 3

Favorite Memory: Going to Disneyland my senior year for the citrus bowl and getting to be with my friends. I also loved going to state volleyball

Favorite Stunt: My favorite stunt to do is an arabesque high-low because they always look pretty and are easy to catch

Future Plans: I plan on going to the University of Montana and majoring in exercise science. Eventually, I hope to attend a respiratory care program in Missoula as well. Overall, I hope to have a great freshman year at U of M and see where I can go from there.

Greatest Accomplishment: My greatest accomplishment is never giving up. Maintaining good grades and being involved in extracurricular activities and clubs can be difficult. I am most proud of myself for managing the up’s and down’s that are thrown at you during your four years of high school.

What do you want to be when you grow up? When I grow up I hope to pursue some type of career in the medical field. As of know, I see myself becoming a respiratory therapist. I also hope that when I grow up I can travel the world with my new family.

Final Thoughts: I want to thank all of my teammates for making my senior year so awesome. I’m so glad I got the chance to meet everyone I have due to cheer! I hope to stay in touch with every single person on the team even when I graduate. I love you guys!

Favorite Memory: My favorite memory is getting ready with my friends before games, doing each other’s hair and makeup, and grabbing coffee on our way.

Favorite Stunt: My favorite stunt is a full up to lib.

Future Plans: I plan on going to Montana State University and studying Exercise Science. Then hopefully going to med school in Washington to become a plastic surgeon.

Greatest Accomplishment: My greatest accomplishment was getting straight A’s my whole life while participating in sports and clubs.

What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a plastic surgeon and specialize in cleft lips and burn victims.

Looking back, what advice would you give to yourself for High School? I would tell myself to surround myself with good people and have a more positive attitude about everything.

Who is your idol and why? My idols are my parents because they have taught me so much and they care for me like crazy. I want to be just like them when I grow up so my kids have the best experience like I do.

What is one piece of advice that you would give to your fellow underclassmen cheerleaders? Work hard at practice and strive for a certain goal to accomplish. One at a time.

What is something you want to tell your coaches? Thank you for making me a better cheerleader and for listening to my problems.

Favorite Memory: My favorite memory from cheer over the past four years is traveling with all of my best friends. Getting to travel to state and nationals with my team and making many memories will be something I will never forget.

What do you want to be when you grow up? When I grow up I want to be a NICU nurse.

Looking back, what advice would you give to yourself for High School? I would tell myself to enjoy the little things and cherish the time I have with all of my friends.

Who is your idol and why? My mom because she is hardworking, supportive, and does everything she can to make sure I’m happy.

What is one piece of advice that you would give to your fellow underclassmen cheerleaders? Enjoy every game and moment you have on cheer because it is the best time and time flies by.

What is something you want to tell your coaches? Tayler, thank you for being so supportive and for giving us girls the best experiences like going to Florida, I will never forget those memories and I will miss you next year!

Final Thoughts: I am so glad I got to experience four years of cheering and I will forever cherish the friendships I have made throughout the years. Thank you to all my family for always supporting me and thank you to all of my coaches who got me to where I am today.

Favorite Memory: Traveling to Florida and going to Disneyworld with the team, and spending time with the girls at state basketball and state volleyball! Spending time in the hotels together are some of the greatest and funniest memories over the last four years!

Future Plans: Attend the University of Arizona to study Physiology and Medical Sciences on a Pre-Med track. After obtaining my bachelor degree I hope to attend Medical School one day to become a physician.

Greatest Accomplishment: Creating a project that raised $4,000 for the Ronald McDonald House of Billings to support them with expanding and remodeling their home!

What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be successful and happy. My dream is to be a physician that specializes in pediatric oncology but I’m open to any path life takes me on!

Looking back, what advice would you give to yourself for High School? Don’t get caught up with the little things in life. Sometimes you just need to move on and don’t get so upset because in the end it’s just cheer!

What is one piece of advice that you would give to your fellow underclassmen cheerleaders? Get involved in as many things as possible! High School is so much fun and there is so many amazing opportunities so if you have the slightest interest to join anything, do it!!! Also join HOSA (Future Health Professionals) it is so much fun and the best club in high school by far.

Final Thoughts: To the juniors enjoy your last year of High School because in just one short year this senior night will be for you and it comes so fast. To my sister Kylie, keep being the amazing flyer you are, you are so beautiful and fun to be around so don’t let anyone tell you different! To the sophomores and freshman I have loved getting to know all of you and have so much fun throughout these next few years! I love and will miss you all so much!

Looking back, what advice would you give to yourself for High School? Go with the flow because almost everything I tripped about ended up being irrelevant by my senior year.

What is one piece of advice that you would give to your fellow underclassmen cheerleaders? Stick with it so you can finally experience “your year” as a senior, because let’s be honest you’ll miss it. Also, always always have your teammates backs, remember a team is about building each other up not tearing each other down. Lastly, trust me on this one it will be over before you know it , so don’t wish your high school years away and enjoy it!

What is something you want to tell your coaches? Thank you for putting up with me:)

Final Thoughts: I am very thankful to have grown up in the last four years with such a special group of girls, even on the days that we stepped on each others toes! It can be tough spending so much time together, with a cheer being a year round sport, but I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anyone else. I’m so excited to watch my girls spread their wings with the new chapter we are all stepping into (btw y'all we better stay in touch). FOREVER GOLDEN

Looking back, what advice would you give to yourself for High School: You are going to have to make a lot of hard choices but you will grow and learn a lot about yourself, the Lord, and people through the choices you make. The hard parts don’t last long look for the joy everyday.

Who is your Idol and Why: My mom is my idol because I aspire to be able to lead my kids and young women to Jesus the way she does.

What is one piece of advice that you would give to your fellow underclassmen Cheerleaders: people listen and care about the words you speak. Let those words be full of love and Kindness. Speaking life will always be more fulfilling than gossip and slander.

What is something you want to tell your coaches:

Tayler: I am beyond proud of you! This is a hard sport to coach and you did it so well. I am grateful for this last year with you. You are amazing stand in confidence in the giftings the Lord has given you!

Piper: Thank you for being my coach for more years than I can count! I’m forever grateful for the family that cheer brought me. Thank you for teaching me a sport that I grew to love so deeply.

Favorite Coachism: Start walking around like your stuff doesn’t stink because it doesn’t. You know you’ve done well when Tayler is crying

Final thoughts: This sport had been apart of my life since I as really little. Cheer has brought me new friendships, taught me hard lessons, and gave me amazing memories. This sport pushed me past my fears. It gave me a stage to perform on. It gave me leadership opportunities. I am forever grateful for the years of fun this sport gave me.
