Mr. & Mrs. Teague
Mr. Teague has been the Monticello High School band director since 2008. The 2025-26 school year will be his 26th school year as a band director. Mr. Teague is a graduate of Mountain Home High School, Henderson State University (bachelors) and the University of Arkansas at Monticello (masters). His major instrument is the euphonium and also plays trombone. Mr. Teague previously taught in the Dumas School District as the Junior High band director for 6.5 years and then as the Dumas High School band director for 1 year. He has also worked at the University of Arkansas at Monticello as an adjunct low brass instructor for 4 years. Mr. Teague is married to the former Monticello Middle School band director, Carrie Teague and they have 2 amazing kids, Cameron, a music education major at the University of Central Arkansas, and Rachel, a kindergarten student at Monticello Elementary School.
Mr. Teague is a member of Arkansas Bandmasters Association, Phi Beta Mu band director's fraternity and Arkansas School Band & Orchestra Association, in which he served as the 2020-21 President and is currently on the Executive Advisory committee of past presidents.
