Information for Families
Hello families of our Husky Scientists! Scientists will be learning about Life Science, Earth Science and Physical Science in their classrooms with their homeroom teachers using the Next Generation Science Standards. Then they will have Science Lab once a week with me and their homeroom teacher where we will investigate the concepts and skills they have learned with exciting hands-on experiences. Among several other materials and online resources, we will be utilizing the National Geographic Science resource that BHUSD received during the 2022-23 school year. This resource provides students with streamlined and detailed instruction that correlates with the NGSS. Please ask your scientist what they have learned in Science Lab each week and push them to continue wondering about the world around them!
