Membership

The membership of the Association is open to those who subscribe and agree to the aims and objectives of the Association and desire so by submitting a formal application on the prescribed form.

LifeMembers

A subscription of Rs.5000 is to be paid in one installment for life membership of the Association. Such members would have voting rights and would be eligible for election to various offices of the Association. However, students can pay the amount in two consecutive installments of Rs.2500. Subscription for foreign nationals from developing countries is US$ 200, and for those from developed countries it is US$ 500.

Corporate/Institutional Members

This category of membership would be open to research institutions, laboratories, social organizations, trusts, corporations, societies, etc., and would require a donation of Rs.10,000 on a one-time basis.

Honorary Members

Men or women of distinction, residing in India or abroad, of any nationality, who have made outstanding contributions to the betterment of mankind through science or any other creative endeavor, may be elected to the Executive Committee.

Enrolment and Mode of Payment of Membership Fee

Membership Fee should either be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Secretary, Association for the Promotion of DNA Fingerprinting and Other DNA Technologies", APDFDT) or through direct bank transfer:
