Title: Translating Human Evolutionary History to Precision Medicine
We would not be wrong, If we call this era the 'Era of Genomics'. With technological advancements, we have been able to generate the highest resolution of data and solve those long-standing questions which remain unanswered for several decades. Human genomics research has pushed us at a time when precision medicine has become a reality. Along the same line, the history of modern humans and their interaction with archaic humans have added immense information to our knowledge of population interaction. The last five years have witnessed the publication of an incredible number of ancient genomes. Such a revolution has brought many complex population histories unknown to the world.
Looking at the human population structure, South Asia is much more complex compared to Europe or USA. However, in terms of data availability, we are far behind them. Hence, we plan to have a conference on the human Population history of the world.
Here, we wish to invite the World's top leaders working on human migration, introgression, selection, and drift to deliver talks, conduct panel discussions and meet the students' sessions to inform the scientists, faculties and students about cutting-edge research in this area. The conference will be of three days with eight sessions. Every session would have a keynote lecture of 45 minutes. The remaining talks will be 25 mins each.
Session 1. The ancient DNA revolution
Session 2. The archaic Introgression
Session 3. Evolution and Epidemiology
Session 4. The modern DNA Evolution
Session 5. Evolution of Complex traits and disease genetics
Session 6. Genomic selection and Adaptation
Session 7. Precision Medicine
Session 8. Advances in Forensics
