Our Vision

Bard DNA envisions a growing school community that respects, values and motivates students of various identities to create and maintain a safe space in and outside of Bard walls. Bard DNA will collaborate with each other affinity groups to create a unified forces of students who are passionate about social justice.

We will become a network that extends to other Bard Colleges, serving as a network of support, resources and community for students who have been historically underrepresented in postsecondary higher education. We will stand as an organization that supports and empowers students and student groups to do similar work. We will exist as a powerful group of students with the platform and influence to transform social, political and economic policies. we will encourage active student participation not only within the Bard DNA community, but also in the general BHSEC community so that students are well equipped to carry out our purpose.
