Back to Books STEM Grant

The libraries of District 228 were awarded the Back to Books Library Grant!* The amount of the award is $4999.00 split equally among all four schools! The BHSD 228 Library Department will connect the new books to Makerspace, class, and career interests so that STEM is embraced, integrated and applied in the lives of our students, faculty and community members today and in the future.

*“Funding for this grant was awarded by the Illinois State Library, a Department of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).”
