Hello, my name is Alexa and I am 19 years old and love to hang with my bestie, my service dog, Boo. I love listening to music and hanging out on my iPad. I play basketball, ride horses, and love swimming. When I was very young doctors discovered I had a brain tumor and seizures. The treatments for the cancer have led to cognitive and physical delays. But, I still like to do fun active things but sometimes it is hard to find those things that are appropriate and accessible for someone with disabilities. That is why I wanted to spread the information my mom and I learn when we find great spots or programs to help me be active.
