Curriculum Highlights

Instructional Support 

is provided by State certified Special Education, English, and Mathematics, History and Science personnel.  Instruction is supported by qualified Paraprofessionals from whom students receive remediation and academic support.

 Access to Core Content 

is made available through a State approved digital curriculum and includes

courses in English, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, World Languages, Health & Physical

Education, and Career & Technology Education to meet all course content graduation requirements.

 General Education courses for original credit or credit recovery include college preparatory, honors,

and Advanced Placement.

 Advanced Placement Opportunities

and Advanced Placement.  AP courses are available in English, Science, Mathematics, Spanish, and Social Studies. 


 General Electives 

are available to meet Health & Physical Education, Visual & Performing Arts, and

21st Century Life & Careers or Technical Education course graduation requirements.

 Prescriptive Courses in select content are available to provide students with opportunities to

pre-assess by unit to determine appropriate placement; pre-tests assess student’s knowledge and

identify areas of deficiency by unit to direct student to specific material yet to be mastered.


 Physical Education 

is available online or via full access to the Camden County College’s Wellspring Fitness Center.  Physical Education will be provided individually a minimum of 30 minutes per day or 150 minutes per week and tailored to individual students based on their social-emotional needs and demonstrated independent behavior.  When permitted, students who utilize the Wellspring Fitness Center will be accompanied by a program staff member.
