Student Cell Phone &
Technology Usage
Students will be given defined Tech Breaks throughout their day to use their phones for personal usage. This time should be utilized to use your phone/technology in an appropriate manner. Some things you can do during Tech Breas is to check your social media accounts, email, text messages, listen to music, play games and etc.
Students are encouraged NOT TO SHARE THEIR PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION WITH OTHER STUDENTS IN THE PROGRAM. While staff cannot and will not enforce this, students are encouraged to understand that there may be lasting natural, unwanted consequences from not following through with this suggestion. When you are placed in a setting where the goal is for you to work on restoring yourself, it is best NOT to make relationships in the program environment complicated. Try to avoid unnecessary distractions when possible.
