Week 13 (2/28): Started Survival Task #3: Research, Design, and Build a Water Filter

Week 14 (3/7): NO PACE 

Week 15 (3/14): Finished planning water filters

Week 16 (3/21): Built & Tested Water Filters (see pictures below!)

Week 17 (3/28): Finished answering lab questions and pulled cards for survival. 

Week 9 (1/31): Finished Shelters, Reading Comprehension Check HW: FINISH THE BOOK for 2/14! 

Week 10: Half Day - No PACE

Week 11 (2/14): Discussed book and characteristics we admire about Sam Gribley (main character).  Pulled survival cards and started an Animal Heart Beat logic puzzle.

Week 12: February Break

Week 5: 

• Descriptive Writing due. 

• Survival Task #1 - assess what you have and what you will need to survive on the deserted island.

Week 6: 

• Planning stage of Survival Task #2 - Build a Shelter 

• HW: Read at least pages #1-68 in My Side of the Mountain

Week 7: NO PACE 

Week 8: Survival Task #2 - Build a Shelter before sundown (end of class!) HW: Read pages #68-101 in My Side of the Mountain for next week!

Week 2: Plan Your Dream Vacation (one day activity necessary to jump start us next week) - This was not meant to be challenging.

Week 3: Finished planning our dream vacations! 

Week 4: Completed a couple of math riddles and started our Descriptive Writing piece about the deserted island. Ask them how their story is coming along!  🏝️
