About me

The 2023-2024 school year marks my 16th year of teaching.  I graduated from Kutztown University in 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a certification to teach students in grade K-6.  I also have two add-on certifications to teach English and social studies for grades 7-9.  In 2015, I graduated with my Reading Specialist Masters Degree from Kutztown University.  I have taught in a variety of school and grade levels.  My first years of teaching were at Southern Middle School in the Reading School Disctrict.  From there, I moved on to teach third grade at Sacred Heart School in West Reading.  Shortly after, I joined the BHASD faculty as a Title I reading specialist.  I then taught a year of six grade English.  I was then moved to fifth grade, and this year will be my sixth year with the fifth grade team.
