Transition is an important part of high school and Transition Planning is required for all students with IEP's. Through transition activities, meetings, and surveys, we help students to determine what the appropriate "next step" is for them, and how to be successful in reaching that next step.
There is an abundant amount of information out there on transition and often it is difficult navigating those resources. I have tried to make that easier for students and families by creating a Google Classroom where Transition information can be easily accessed.
Topics listed in the Classroom are:
The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation
Self Advocacy
Intellectual Disabilities/Autism
Virtual Programs
Parent Support
Soft/Employability Skills
Technology
Webinar Opportunities
Websites
Agencies
Mental Health
Office of Developmental Programs
Military
Career Center Information
Employment
College Prep Information
General Information

I encourage you to visit the site for the latest information on Transition.
