Anything that puts your health or safety or the health and safety of someone else at risk, I have to report to your parents, the Department of Family Services, or the Greybull Police Department. 

This includes things like:

• Thoughts of Suicide 

• Self-injury (cutting, burning, etc.)

• Eating Disorders

• Addictions

• Fighting or Physical Violence

• Illegal Behaviors

• Threats

Other behaviors that are not listed may still require a report. 

If you share information with me about abuse (physical, emotional, verbal, sexual, or other abuse and neglect) directed at you, another minor, or an elderly person, I am required by law to report it to the Department of Family Services and possibly to the police. 

If you share information about previous abuse or neglect, I may still need to call DFS to double-check that it has been reported. 

By law, if I am subpoenaed or court ordered (required by law to attend a hearing or other court proceeding), I cannot guarantee that your information will be kept confidential. I will always do my best to reveal as little as possible in legal settings, but I must cooperate with the police, DFS, and the courts.
