The BGCDSB will continue to use RMC products. RMC (Rochester Midland Canada) Neutral disinfectant (ph 7) is recognized as a leader in Eco Logo Green technology and has been approved by Health Canada as effective against Covid 19 as well and many, many other viruses. It is also scent free. We have been using RMC Products since 2013 at BGCDSB. We are also recognized as a forward thinking Board regarding responsible cleaning products, protecting staff and students.
Enhanced cleaning protocols will continue to be in place.
At BGCDSB, 100% of our buildings have mechanical HVAC systems, which ensures adequate ventilation.
All fountains without touch-less sensors are being bagged to prevent use and to eliminate touch points. We have added over 50 of new touch-less fountains for the upcoming school year.
