Good morning everyone, and welcome to Week 2 of distance learning!
During this time of distance learning, we are working as a community to do our best to support you. Establishing routines for communicating will be helpful for us all to ensure we are supporting you effectively and efficiently.
For these reasons, we ask the following:
General inquiries- For those questions or wonderings that you might usually ‘check-in’ at the office for, please email: ndm.info@bgcdsb.org
Questions for a teacher about an assignment in your child’s google classroom- Please send a private comment within your child’s Google classroom.
Other questions for teachers not related to an assignment in Google Classroom- Please email ndm.info@bgcdsb.org. In the subject line: indicate the name of the teacher your email is for. For Example: Subject: Mrs. Strimas
Our entire Notre Dame staff will do their best to respond to your questions in a timely manner. Messages you send at night will most likely be responded to by the end of the next school day.
Although it may be tempting to contact staff directly, we ask you to not reach out through their home phone, by text or by direct email. Your messages may be lost and we want to ensure we have an organized way for communicating with you.

Good morning everyone,
Welcome to the Notre Dame Virtual School! Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you as we move together to continue with education during this difficult time. We miss all of you and wish that we could see your smiles and hear your voices. We are going to start our journey slowly so please take this week to navigate to your teachers' pages and see the activities that are there for you. This is Holy Week, and although we will not have our Easter Liturgy this week we are all preparing for Easter at home. Do not hesitate to reach out to your teachers if you have any trouble accessing what you need. The BGCDSB has started a Movement Challenge if you are interested in adding some activity into your day. See the Community Blog link below.
We will continue to update this page regularly with important announcements during this time so check back on a regular basis.
Wishing we could be together to celebrate Holy Week. The following are some resources to celebrate with your family:
