Our classroom is equipped with Chromebooks, a SMARTboard and a collection of different coding devices. We use Google Tools to share our work online and listen we to music and watch French videos. We play math games and learn to code, make art and videso. We also learn about tech safety, online and offline.
Technology is used as a tool that can be used to support subject areas, but not to replace sound instructional practices. Our overall goal is still to reach students on a more human level. To talk, to interact, to question, to problem-solve together, to debate, to present. This is the very essence of a Second-Language classroom.
