FOURTH GRADE: Social Studies & Language Arts
The purpose of this guide is to lay out the stages of inquiry for the fourth grade so that the student may develop an interest of their choosing related to the given topic. The student will learn how to best utilize sources of information, both print and digital, to discover the answer to their inquiry. The student will also learn how to identify credible sources of information as well as citing the sources they obtained information from. This project achieves many of the fourth grade social studies and writing standards, as well as incorporates many of the AASL Standards Framework for Learners as seen below.
