Dream by Aiden Young
The sky had turned a deep shade of violet as all the stars began to move across the sky. The earth shook as the ground gave way to an infinite blackness (though in this case, a purpleness) of space, celestial bodies still converging upon the horizon, and I was stuck there, as if floating in a pool of water, the lights growing closer together, congealing into a single, great formless mass, yet a shape seemed to begin forming, its size too massive for me to see. And as suddenly as it occurred, the sky collapsed in on itself, and the ground fell towards me, and all the stars dispersed once more. My feet were once more on solid ground. The sky was once more blue. All resumed as normal, a dream within the dream. Yet something remained: a single point of light, fallen from the sky, lying at my feet, growing ever brighter till all was consumed.
