Life

Life is the gift of living.
And living is a gift within life.
Whilst staring into space you contemplate, what is life?
Is life a snowball of emotions crashing down a steep hill.
Is life sucking you into a deep dark abyss, like a black hole?
Truthfully, life is what you make it to be.
The more you contemplate upon it, the more you realize it is true
There is nothing else like life but living the essence of life itself.
Life is not money.
Life is not power.
Life is the gift of living.
And living is a gift within life.
As you do something that you enjoy, ask, is this my life?
In that moment what you are doing is living, which isn't life.
What is a molecule, or an atom?
The device that you are using to read this poem
Just things that make up life.
Your entire world
Your entire universe
Is centered around life, and the act of living through that life.
So when you are sitting there Writing,
Talking, Acting, Running, Playing, Working,
Put your life on the page.
Put your life in the things you do.
