Let Louisiana Shine is a campaign to stop littering in Louisiana. On their website, https://keeplouisianabeautiful.org/let-louisiana-shine/, the various effects of littering are described. The main three being that litter is costly, harmful, and illegal. The website goes on to list 10 actions you can take to keep litter out of Louisiana. The website also has a link that takes you to a form where you can make a pledge to clean up your neighborhood the 4th Saturday of every month. Governor John Bel Edwards has named this day “Love the Boot Day.” Show your love for Louisiana by keeping it clean!
