Writing
I have teamed up with another 4th grade teacher at the Gilbert campus to pair each student with a pen pal.
Students will be writing friendly letters to their pen pals, which we will then “mail” and exchange between classrooms. In return, each student will receive a letter back from their pen pal!
This activity is a fun and engaging way for students to practice their writing skills, learn proper letter format, and build connections with other students. We will focus on writing friendly letters that include greetings, details about themselves, questions for their pen pal, and a closing.
We look forward to seeing our students grow as writers while enjoying this special experience!

To help keep our classroom fresh and engaging, I am looking for parent volunteers to design and set up a bulletin board for one month at a time.
Volunteers would be responsible for creating one bulletin board during their assigned month. Themes can be academic, seasonal, motivational, or school-appropriate—feel free to get creative! I am happy to provide guidelines, materials, or ideas if needed.
If you are interested, please click the button above to sign up for a month!
