Reminders:

Snacks are allowed at school to eat during first and last recess, however, they are not required. If your child is full from breakfast and can wait till lunch, they do not have to bring a morning snack. If they eat lunch at 11am and are ok to wait till they get home to eat, they don't have to have an afternoon snack. 

If you have not signed up for a parent teacher conference, please check your email for the sign up link. Reminder that there is only one conference per student. Please bring proper identification to your conference to check in at the front office. 

Please encourage your child to sound their phonograms when they are writing them for homework. We will begin written phonogram testing on September 11, so this habit will help students make the connection between hearing and writing the phonograms.

9/2 and 9/3 - half day, teacher conferences.

9/25- half day, dismissal at noon

9/28-10/9 - Fall Break!

Handwriting Focus: Demonstrate correct directionality when writing six handwriting features. 

Literature: Discuss and identify elements of a narrative in various stories. Compare and contrast experiences of characters in two different stories. 

Math: Module 5 Test (Monday)

  Test counting 1-30

  Represent numbers 6-10 with objects
