Green Minds: Roots in Nature (2022)

About the project

Beyond Face presents: Roots in Nature. A commission from Plymouth City Council’s Green Minds project, created to encourage more adults of the Global Majority to use green spaces in the city. 

After a week of various creative workshops, from movement sessions to crafting with flowers, Beyond Face shared a performance inspired by our 'Roots in Nature.’  The workshops were created to encourage participants to explore their creativity through nature, motivating them to learn new skills and contribute to the final performance. The end of week performance was inspired by the power of interacting with the earth, and took place in the greenery of Devonport park.
