Steps to Signing the Commitment

  • Download our Information Kit about the Green Chemistry Commitment to share with your department and colleagues to discuss the Commitment.

  • Once you agree as a Department to Commit - the Chemistry Department Chair, along with one institutional administrator must sign the Pledge Form below.

  • Determine who will be the contact points for the Commitment at your institution. Submit the Contact Form below with at least your institution’s primary contact person(s) information.

  • Finally, E-mail both forms back to us so we can welcome you to the Commitment!

What's Next?

Once your institution has officially signed on to the Green Chemistry Commitment (GCC)! What next? Due to every institution and chemistry department implementing the Green Chemistry Student Learning Objectives in their own unique way and on their own timeline there is no single “correct” approach to getting started or building upon your own success in your courses or programs but we do have an on boarding document below with next steps and ideas to get you started on your journey towards greener chemistry education.
