Funding Level: Awareness and Outreach


Up to $2,500 dollars will be awards to 2-4 institutions with achievable challenge proposals given the funding timeline. Projects must be implmented by August 2023.

Challenge Proposals should be submitted using the Google Form. Directly below you can find the required information for proposals.

Outline the challenge(s) or opportunities for your department to integrate green chemistry into the chemistry curriculum.

Project Narrative:

· Please provide a brief description of the proposal. What are the overall objectives of the proposal (no more than 3).

· What challenge/opportunity are you addressing in the Green Chemistry Education Challenge grant?

· What will this funding enable your department to do that you could not do otherwise?

· What are the potential barriers or additional challenges and how will they be addressed?

· Who is the audience for this project and what is the intended audience impact?

Project Plan:

· Provide a description of project activities and how they will contribute to the achievement of the objectives being described.

· What is your project timeline and key deliverables?

· How will progress and success be measured?

Budget:

· What is the budget needed to tackle this challenge?

· Include a budget justification and any other funding sources available to leverage for your project.

· What assets and resources are available on your campus to tackle this challenge?

Experience and Qualifications:

· Please describe applicant(s) experience and qualifications related to completing the proposed challenge.

· What other stakeholders will be engaged to complete this challenge?
