Beverly Keeps Reading
Spring 2020 Community Challenge
Can Beverly Read 5,000 Books This Spring?
The Beverly Public Library, in conjunction with the Beverly Public Schools’ librarians (Ms. Woznick at BMS and Mrs. Fecteau at BHS) are pleased to announce the BEVERLY KEEPS READING program.
This city-wide challenge is designed to keep everyone in Beverly reading while we're at home practicing social distancing. We're in this together and we want Beverly to read 5,000 books this spring.
How it Works
People of all ages can participate, from 0 to 109!
Set up Beanstack
- BMS students can download Beanstack Tracker app from Self Service OR you can go to the Beanstack website
Use Beanstack to track your reading
- When you finish a book, log it in Beanstack to earn a badge. You can also keep track of your minutes reading with Beanstack
Submit reviews on Beanstack
- Earn more badges this way!
The reward? The pleasure of a good book, better reading skills -- but also, by using Beanstack, you can accumulate badges that will automatically enter you in weekly prize drawings from some of Beverly’s local businesses.

Drawings will be held on 10 Fridays, from April 17 through June 19. Each week there will be at least two prizes of $25 gift certificates from local Beverly businesses, one for an adult and one for a child (registrants under 18), donated by the Friends of the Beverly Public Library.
Thank You
We are grateful for the federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners to support this platform. We also appreciate the support of the Friends of the Beverly Public Library for their prize support!
