Bethel-Tate Local School District's Gifted Education Philosophy
Students who are gifted present unique needs, as they may differ from their age level peers in abilities, talents, interests, and/or maturity. The Bethel-Tate Local School District strives to provide an environment where these students can thrive, providing accelerated and enriched instruction that is grounded in research-based practices.

Bethel-Tate Gifted STEM Form and Acceptance of Service and Permission Form 2025-2026
Please fill out this document so that I can double-check contact information and quickly see if there are student needs of which I need to be aware. This form must be on file with me for your child to be able to participate in walking field trips. In the past, you have completed a Google Form. I am asking that this year this be completed the old-fashioned way! I distributed this document at Open House at Hill Intermediate and BTMS. I will send the form home with students on the first day of STEM class. Please have them bring it to me or take it to the Main Office at their school. Thank you!

The Bethel-Tate Gifted STEM program grew out of a 2010 joint learning program between several school districts in Clermont County. In 2016, when budget cuts resulted in other districts leaving the program, Bethel-Tate recomitted its support of gifted education by establishing and maintaining what is currently one of the longest running gifted programs in Clermont County serving grades 2 - 8. Although high school students do not attend a STEM program, they still receive gifted service through honors and CCP level class with teachers who have had (or are in the process of accumulating) 60 hours of professional development related to gifted education.
